Who doesn’t love finely crafted beer? With so many IPA’s that come and go, very few of them actually leave you wanting more. And since you can’t get any of the original Bazens’ Brewery specialty beers and ales anymore- we may have to settle for the equally impressive Brinkburn St. Brewery beers where Richard Bazen himself is Head Brewer! What wouldn’t a tribute page be more fitting that to give you a closer look at our creative team who care very much about the value of crafted beer these days. Here is our finely brewed crew- enjoy!
Joel Banks: “It’s all about the beer”
Long-time resident of Manchester for over 35 years, Joel’s favorite beer memories are often inspired from the first time he tried Santa’s Reinbeer back in 2005 while on a pub crawl through Salford one brisk December evening. Working by day in the shipping logistics sector and lead editor for this site, Joel enjoys the pleasures of a nice pint at the end of the day with fellow mates.
Mia McDonald: “a taste for finer things”
What do they say about the small town girl who sets her sights higher in Manchester? Sure you might think London would be posh enough, but nothing feels more like home than here. Mia is co-editor of our tribute site and also enjoyed Fresher’s Special when still in college. Who says a girl can’t have class?
Molly Clements: “brewing a storm in a teacup”
Who better to have a good angle on the latest gossip and rumors than Molly? Barely able to remember if she liked Salford Pale Ale or the Fresher’s Special more… Her current favorite is the pleasantly similar tasting Summer Gremlin which obviously just as hoppy in its’ own right. Molly adds just as much spice to the mix in her detailed brewery reports.
